Lyon Distilling Company teamed up with the Baltimore Bartenders’ Guild & Bookmakers Cocktail Club at RYE ROCKS! – to celebrate the spirit that made the Walters Art Museum possible – for an evening of whiskey history, tasting & cocktails. It was the perfect place to debut our aged Maryland Free State Rye Whiskey – a bottle of which cocktail historian David Wondrich took to the podium with him so that he and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake could nose, taste and talk the audience through rye whiskey appreciation. Cheers to the rebirth of Maryland Rye!
